BIOGRAPHY:
Amazing vocalist born and raised in New Orleans, USA, she started singing very soon, at 9, although she didn´t became a music pro until 1987, when she was almost 40. Since then, she has recorded several great blues albums (also some gospel).
She has won many awards, such as Best Blues Vocalist from Offbeat or Best Female Performer from the Big Easy Entertainment Awards.

This was one of the latests editions of BMWs (Band of Marva Wright), with some veterans such as Benny Turner:
Sadly, she passed away on March 23rd, 2010, after some health complications derived from 2 strokes. Her friends were organizing a benefit concert for her.
