This is intended to be a homage to very many musicians I've loved since I started listening to music. My intention is to tell what I know about them, hoping that those people who like them too, will help me fill numerous gaps, which I may have in their careers and discographies. Sorry, but there are no MP3 audio files here at all, just info (and love for the musicians).

BIOGRAPHY:

As the person who wrote with the sad news of Cornell Dupree´s death told me: one of the all-time greats! Fantastic guitarist, he played in more than 2000 albums during his lengthy career. Of course, I see it impossible to show here all that he did. As always, I just think of this page as my humble tribute to a superb musician. I know I´m missing lots of his live bands, and hundreds of credits, but little by little, I´ll be expanding the info.

Cornell Dupree was born in December 19th, 1942 in Fort Worth, Texas. His nickname was Uncle Funky.
