BIOGRAPHY:
Great jazz drummer, Sonny Igoe was born Owen Joseph Igoe on October 8th, 1923 in Jersey City, New Jersey, USA.
Sonny won a drum contest in 1940. He joined the Navy in 1942, who led him to his first musical job, with Tommy Reed.
