My intention is to tell what I know about them, hoping that those people who like them too, will help me fill numerous gaps, which I may have in their careers and discographies. Ricky Wellman (drums)

(Also known as: Ricardo D Wellman)

MINIMAL BIOGRAPHY:

Great drummer, he was born Ricardo Dalvert Wellman on April 11th, 1956 in Bethesda. He sometimes appears credited as Ricardo D Wellman or under his nickname Sugarfoot.

After playing in Peaches & Herb and Chuck Brown & The Soul Searchers, he joined Miles Davis Group for 4 years. After that, he played in Santana.

He passed away on November 23rd, 2013 in Newport News, Va, due to pancreatic cancer. He was only 57.
