They recorded a track in September 1967, 'Suspicions (part one)' included in the fantastic collection of outtakes, Thru the years, and 'Suspicions (part 2)' appears in another collection of outtakes, Looking back.
Paul Williams only stayed two months, until October 1967. The bassist role was filled in a very short period with three different musicians.

BLUE WHALE
Blue Whale was a new band formed by Aynsley Dunbar in January 1970, only keeping Tommy Eyre from his former band (Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation):
Robert Fripp (cerebrum in King Crimson) almost joined the group. Tommy Eyre suggested Paul Williams for the vocalist role. They played a short tour in Scandinavia on January 1970, as well as playing in London that same month. But the horn section changed very soon.
In February 1970, the horn section in Blue Whale changed, and Roger Sutton changed bass for additional lead guitar:
This lineup released an album, Blue whale, in a progressive style, with long jamming songs. Produced and engineered by Aynsley Dunbar and Colin Caldwell. After many years, this album has been finally released on CD.
But Aynsley dissolved the band in February 1970, when he got a call from Frank Zappa to join forces. Coincidentally, the album contains a long version of Zappa's ´Willie the pimp´.

JUICY LUCY
After a few months, Ray Owen leaves the band, being substituted by Paul Williams.
Changes would continue in the band. Pete Dobson and the great Neil Hubbard also left them, and for a short period, he's replaced by Tommy Eyre (playing guitar, not keyboards!) and a fantastic drummer, Rod Coombes.
But Eyre leaves soon, being replaced by another great musician, Micky Moody in August 1970.
In June 1970, this lineup recorded their second album, Lie back and enjoy it.
The band was chosen by Record Mirror magazine in their polls as ´most promising singer/band´ as #4 (ahead of, for example, Elton John, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie and Black Sabbath!).
New changes again for their third album, Get a whiff of this:
In August 1971, Juicy Lucy appeared at festivals with new bassist Delisle Harper:
And I guess that Chris Mercer left very soon afterwards, and most of the players left too. Campbell and Harper together tried to form another band.
The band, at this time, contained none of the original members, Pyle, Roussel and Berg join the band.
This lineup released their next album, Pieces (recorded in December 1971, and produced by Bruce Rowlands). The album included some guests: Ian McLagan (keyboards), Mick Weaver (keyboards), Albert Lee (backing vocals) and Chas Hodges (backing vocals).
Later, they were joined by Moody's friend, Bernie Marsden.
But Marsden´s stay in Juicy Lucy was really brief, being substituted by Dave Tedstone. This was the band around November 1971:
But Jean Roussel left after a few weeks, to join Cat Stevens live band.
For a while, Juicy Lucy stayed without keyboardist, after the departure of Jean Roussel:
But they got Mike Deacon a little later.
Mike Deacon was the new keyboardist for Juicy Lucy:
Andy Pyle´s replacement was Chrissie Stewart:
This was Juicy Lucy for the 1972 tour supporting Joe Cocker, with Terry Stannard as their new drummer:
There were some other lineups, with Frankie Miller as lead vocalist after Paul Williams left, and Bobby Harrison replacing Miller, before the band splitting in 1972, but I haven´t been able to find the complete details. Help, please! Also, Nick Judd was part of the band, but cannot place him in the timeline...
