BIOGRAPHY:

Fantastic guitarist (and also a very skilled arranger), Joe Moretti´s biggest hit was playing the eternal guitar riff on Johnny Kidd & The Pirates anthem, ´Shakin´ all over´ (not to forget his killer performances with Vince Taylor as in ´Brand new Cadillac´), but he was also featured in many classics from the 60s (Tom Jones, Harris-Meehan, see below) . He was born Joseph Edward Moretti on May 10th 1938, in Glasgow, Strathclyde, Scotland.

Joe Moretti sadly passed away on February 9th, 2012 in Johannesburg, South Africa, after suffering a lung cancer. His guitar playing will always be remembered by everyone who loves rock´n´roll.
