Great sax player, also an expert on flute and clarinet, Roy Willox was born on August 31st, 1929 in Welwyn, Hertfordshire, England. The first band I know with him was Johnny Claes Orchestra, followed by Ted Heath Orchestra. Roy joined Ted Heath several times along different decades.
