This is intended to be a homage to very many musicians I've loved since I started listening to music. My intention is to tell what I know about them, hoping that those people who like them too, will help me fill numerous gaps, which I may have in their careers and discographies. Sorry, but there are no MP3 audio files here at all, just info (and love for the musicians).

There was a series of lineup changes in their early times, and I find it impossible trying to make an accurate trace, so I just mention some of the musicians that played with the in the period from 1958 until May 1961: Fred Carter Jr (1959-1960), Roy Buchanan (joined in 1960), Robbie Robertson (who joined firstly on bass, replacing Jimmy Evans), and Scott Cushnie or Stan Szelest on piano, plus others... Rick Danko joined in May 1961, Richard Manuel in September 1961 and Garth Hudson in December 1961, becoming a different lineup.

I remember I watched it live on TV, and there were lots of technical problems. In fact, the whole sound was absent for some of the first songs. So, in order to be released on CD, they need to 'fix' some things, and Geoff was called to play.
