PROCOL HARUM

New life for the mythical band when Brooker starts the band again in August 1991 (after their separation in 1977). Tim Renwick was asked to play in the USA tour promoting the album Prodigal stranger, as Robin Trower wasn't interested in touring. Mark Brzezicki is the chosen one for the very difficult task of getting the sticks (after their great drummer, B.J. Wilson, sadly died):

PROCOL HARUM #9
Aug 91-Dec 91
êDr Feelgood
Gary Brooker

Keith Reid
lyrics

But in December 1991, Renwick left (being replaced by the incredible Geoff Whitehorn).

In January 1992, Geoff Whitehorn joins Procol Harum (where he still plays, appearing in almost every reunion by the band since then) after Tim Renwick leaves the band:

PROCOL HARUM #10

They played a long tour in 1992, but Matthew Fisher didn't stay for long this time, leaving in April 1992.

Also that same month, they went to play again with Edmonton Symphony Orchestra (the same orchestra they used for recording their live album from 1971, with Dave Ball on guitar).

After finishing the tour, Dave Bronze comes back to Dr. Feelgood in June 1992.

DR FEELGOOD (again)

Dave Bronze rejoins Dr. Feelgood in May 1992:

DR FEELGOOD #?
May 92-Jan 94

As they thought of recording a live album, they augment the lineup with veteran keyboardist Ian Gibbons.

PROCOL HARUM (again)

During June 1993, Dave Bronze tours again with Procol Harum for a while (supporting Jethro Tull), with a renewed lineup featuring 2 new musicians in the Procol ranks:

PROCOL HARUM #13

A connection was made between the Procol gang and Jethro Tull´s bassist, as we´re going to read below....

AND MORE...

He has also played with Blodwyn Pig, Chris Farlowe, Ray Davies and Leo Sayer, but I still have to find details.

He has recorded with Roger Daltrey, Duane Eddy, Belinda Carlisle and Bryan Ferry.

And he also turned down the offer to join Pink Floyd!

Apart from all the facts I've told, I shouldn't forget that Dave usually plays in all the Lee Brilleaux tribute concerts celebrated along these years since his death. There, most of past and present members reunite to play Feelgood music, plus some friends and fans (such as Snowy White).
