Great singer, Barry St John was born Eliza Janet Thomson in 1943 in Glasgow, England. She released some solo singles in the mid 60s, but she´s more known as a lead and backing vocalist for many great bands, appearing in lots of albums.
I haven´t had time to write a proper page to her, so this is just my initial tribute to a great talent and career.
After starting singing with the band Bobby Patrick & The Big Six, she moved from Glasgow to London.
In 1967, she joined The Krew, led by sax player Howie Casey. They married in 1969. That´s why Barry also appears credited sometimes as Eliza Casey.

LES HUMPHRIES SINGERS
From 1973 to 1975, Dave Caswell toured and played with Les Humphries Singers, a good band that had great singers. By that time, they included the magnificent John Lawton (later to join Uriah Heep). This is part of one of the lineups
Caswell appears in their live album Live in Europe, but don´t know the other musicians involved, as I don´t own the album. Can someone help here, please?

THE INTERNATIONAL POP PROMS
Around 1977, it was held a special concert celebrating The Music Of The Fifties in Preston, Lancashire, with these artists: Ben E King, Emile Ford, Frankie Laine, Marty Wilde and Joe and Vicki Brown. They were backed by The International Pop Proms Orchestra, conducted by Les Reed. I only know the supreme vocal section, but I´d like to know the players too. Can someone help, please?:
