THE SECT MANIACS
Mickey also played in a band called The Sect Maniacs along with Andy Fairweather Low and Blue Weaver. The band transformed into Amen Corner (without Mickey) some months later.

Geraint Watkins is a superb keyboardist (also fantastic accordion player), playing with many people. But he also has his own bands and albums. Mickey Gee played in Geraint´s band sometime in the late 70s, but I don´t have more details, so anyone who can provide info would be very valuable, please...

CARL PERKINS AND FRIENDS
In October 1984, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of ´Blue suede shoes´, Carl Perkins shot a video where he is accompanied by several musicians who were hugely influenced by him: George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Eric Clapton, Earl Slick, Dave Edmunds, Rosanne Cash, Geraint Watkins and Mickey Gee, among others.
WILLIE & THE POORBOYS
Willie & The PoorBoys was a parallel band formed by Rolling Stones then-member, Bill Wyman. Thought as an all-star band, Bill called many of his friends to play with him, both on albums and concerts. In March 1985, it was filmed a video, with a slightly different lineup from the album:

AND THEN...
In the last years, he was playing mainly in pubs around Cardiff with his own band (as The Racketeers) or with other combos such as The Sneakers or All The Notes.
But he sadly passed away on January 21st, 2009, after fighting with enphysema. He was a master of Fender Telecaster and will be missed by many fans and many musicians that simply adored him.
