Wonderful steel guitarist, he was born on December 11th 1935, being the son of gospel writer Albert E Brumley. He was a member of the band that backed Buck Owens (The Buckaroos), Rick Nelson, and part of the Desert Rose Band.
He had his own TV show, ´The Brumley Music Show´, for 15 years.

This was the Rick Nelson Band in December 1969:
They lasted together until 1970, when Meisner left for the band for a while, being replaced by Tim Cetera.
This was the Rick Nelson Band in 1970 with new member Tim Cetera on bass:
But in 1971, Randy Meisner came back to the band instead of Cetera.

In 1992, Desert Rose Band becomes a sextet again, adding legendary Tom Brumley in the band:
But in 1993, original members Jorgenson and Duncan leave the band.

But this edition was short-lived, as Jeff Ross left them that same year.
Still in 1993, another different lineup for Desert Rose Band, with new guitarist Jim Monahan:
But the band finally parted ways in February 1994.
He passed away on February 3rd, 2009.
