BIOGRAPHY:
Nick South is a veteran, fantastic bassist that has played in many interesting projects along the years, although it´s not an easy task finding the adequate info. I´ve made my best to compile all this info here. Also, I haven´t any biographical data about Nick.
NEW CHURCH (aka ALEXIS KORNER BAND)
This is the first musical band I know by Nick, who was just 17 years old at that time.
Around 1969, Nick South starts playing with Alexis Korner as a duo:
After a while, they went to Denmark to meet with guitarist Peter Thorup, which gave birth to Korner´s next band, New Church.
In June 1969, Alexis Korner changes the name to his new band to New Church. Their debut was in Germany, followed by the Rolling Stones free concert in Hyde Park, June 1969 (with King Crimson and Family - that concert was Mick Taylor's introduction to the band, and it converted into a tribute to Brian Jones, who had died just two days before - in fact, Brian Jones wanted to be a member of New Church but this didn´t happen):
But Nick South and Sappho Korner left very soon, before September 1969 (Nick being replaced by the great Colin Hodgkinson).

CHIMERA
This band was formed sometime in the late 60s (maybe 1970?), but I haven´t more details:
They recorded several tracks, but they remained unreleased for many years. The album was to be produced by Nick Mason of Pink Floyd, and it contains contributions by the late Rick Wright (also from Pink Floyd). In 2004, an album was released with those tracks as well as earlier songs by the vocal duo.
Nick South and Bob Weston later played together again in Steve Marriott´s All Stars, as we´re going to read later.

Blue Goose was formed around 1974 from jams held by Eddie Clarke with his then-mates Hogarth and Perry along with Alan Callan. They recorded some demos before getting Nick South as bassist:

STEVE MARRIOTT´S ALL STARS
The great, missed Steve Marriott disbanded Humble Pie in March 1975. Four months later, in July 1975, he had assembled his own combo, called Steve Marriott´s All Stars. This was the original lineup:

NEO
After some changes in the band, Nick South joins Neo in September 1978 (replacing John McCoy) to fill some of the free time when Sniff´n´The Tears remained inactive:

SNIFF´N´THE TEARS
Sniff´n´The Tears started as a project by singer Paul Roberts in 1977. But, when he got a contract to make an album, he assembled a band. Nick joined replacing their original bassist, Chris Birkin:
The band went through many changes in its life. I try to assemble the puzzle (I hope I haven't commited many mistakes...).
Drummer Paul Robinson replaced Luigi Salvoni in Sniff´n´The Tears (don´t know the exact period, sorry):

Around 1981, Sniff´n´The Tears gets the great Jamie Lane on drums:
Also in 1981, when Sniff´n´The Tears were to start a tour, Loz Netto suffers an accident, and they get the magnificent Clem Clempson to tour with them:
After the tour, Clem ends his association with Sniff´n´The Tears (he still would play in some of Paul Roberts´ solo albums) and the band recovers its previous form, with Loz Netto able to play again:
Finally, in 1982, Loz Netto and Mick Dyche leave, and another great player arrives, Les Davidson:
This was their latest incarnation, and after some time, Paul Roberts starts his solo career.

TIME UK
Time UK was a project formed by Rick Buckler (from The Jam) around 1983. It started as a writing team with Ray Simone. But, after some time, it evolved into a whole band:
After some time, Danny Kustow left Time UK, being replaced by Fletcher Christian:
After a tour, they recorded some tracks, released as singles. But the band didn´t last much more.
In 2002, an album has been released compiling some of those singles plus unreleased songs. Its title is One more time, and I guess it contains Nick South playing there. Can someone confirm me this point, please?
