Barry St John (backing vocals)

(Also known as: Eliza Casey) BRIEF BIOGRAPHY:

Great singer, Barry St John was born Eliza Janet Thomson in 1943 in Glasgow, England. She released some solo singles in the mid 60s, but she´s more known as a lead and backing vocalist for many great bands, appearing in lots of albums.

I haven´t had time to write a proper page to her, so this is just my initial tribute to a great talent and career.

After starting singing with the band Bobby Patrick & The Big Six, she moved from Glasgow to London.

In 1967, she joined The Krew, led by sax player Howie Casey. They married in 1969. That´s why Barry also appears credited sometimes as Eliza Casey.
