CEDAR WALTON GROUP (again)
This was the lineup for Cedar Walton Group in December 2008:
In 2010, Cedar Walton was awarded National Endowment for the Arts 2010 Jazz Master (along with Muhal Richard Abrams, Kenny Barron, Bill Holman, Bobby Hutcheson, Yusef Lateef, Annie Ross and George Avakian).
Sadly, Cedar Walton died on August 19th, 2013 in Brooklyn, New York. He was 79. But we´ll always have his recorded contribution to jazz music.
He has played in more than 400 albums, so this page is just my humble starting point as a tribute to him.
