Great vocalist, Edna Wright was born on February 2nd, 1994, sister to Darlene Love. She started singing in a church choir. She released some early singers under the name Sandy Wynns.

HONEY CONE
In 1968, Edna Wright asked Carolyn Willis and Shelly Clark to back her in a TV appearance. It proved to be so successful that they remained working as a trio, under the name Honey Cone:
They went to number 1 with the song ´Want ads´ in 1971.
Carolyn Willis left the band in 1973 and the band split up soon after.

Edna Wright sadly passed away on September 12th, 2020, from a heart attack in Encino, California. What a great voice we´ve lost... This page is my tribute to her, and I'll try to expand her discography sometime soon.
