• Jack Bruce (bass) (Death: 25/October/2014 - Birth: 14/May/1943)
My short comment: As a teenager, I grew up listening to Jimi Hendrix, Rory Gallagher, John Mayall, but especially Cream. Once I first heard them, I bought all their albums (then vinyl, of course). I was blown away by their powerful sound. The razorshaped guitar of Eric, the majestic drums of Ginger, and the outstanding bass and vocals by Jack. Later, I bought their albums again when they were released on CD (and later, I bought the CD remasters, don´t know how many later editions will come...). Jack Bruce was always a hero of mine. To add more here, I wrote to Jack in 2001 (via his webmaster, Derek Araujo) to tell him about Tommy Eyre´s passing. Derek forwarded him my message, and Jack was so kind to write me with his words about Tommy. Thanks for all, Jack, and someday soon I´ll replace these words with a proper tribute page devoted to you in my website.
